ELGATO GAME CAPTURE HD SOFTWARE 2.0 OR 3.0 INSTALL
Tried to install several NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1070 drivers, including the latest one 390.65 Tried to install all the updates for windows 10 and make it up to date Tried to roll back a few Elgato Game Capture HD versions, tested 3.60, 3.50, all showing same problem Tried putting my laptop out of the "energy saving" mode, also all the tests made were with laptop plugged into a power source, to make sure it's running on the top of it's capabilities. (btw, the only things connected to my laptop when recording is the audio interface on a USB 3.0, the Elgato HD60S on another USB 3.0 and a XBOX wireless receiver controller on another USB 2.0 port) Tried switching USB ports to all combination possible. Tried to record using the Elgato HD60S that i have on my main PC (the first one i had), also tried to use this new Elgato HD60S that i bought with the laptop on my PC, and in there it recorded fine. Tried to record using a different USB mic, the Audio Technica AT2020 to see if it was some incompatibility with the audio interface Made sure every sound source on my laptop is 16bit 48000hz Switched Encoder and Decoder to Built-in Software on Game Capture HDĭisabled pretty much everything on Elgato Game Capture HD (video preview, 60fps preview, lowered the quality of the recording to the worst possible, tried to record in 720p, 1080p30, 1080p60fps, disabled flashback recording, transmission command, etc) Installed a WEBCAM FIX ( ) as suggested by Elgato's Customer Support via e-mail Tried to record stuff on C: (same SSD that elgato is installed), D: (different HD)

ELGATO GAME CAPTURE HD SOFTWARE 2.0 OR 3.0 UPDATE
This issue makes it impossible to use Elgato HD60S to record anything on my laptop, considering it's random stutters/audio problems, so it's a pain to edit and having to keep cutting stuff/re-syncing throughout the whole video.įormatting PC twice, a second time with a Windows 10 build before the Fall Creators Update (1709) that apparently screwed the drivers Webcam is there to show the desync between camera recording and elgato recording): It's in portuguese but i explained the issues in english, hope you can see what's going on (don't mind the dark light webcam or random stuff said, just tried to emulate a real gameplay recording in order to show the issue. Been trying to solve this for two months now but their support keeps asking me to do the same thing over and over, and it doesn't work.

I have made several vídeos showing this problem to Elgato.

Since it stutters/glitches, it's like information is lost and the video recording ends before the camera recording. The longer the record is, the worse the problem gets. At the end of the recording it's completely out of sync. Problem is, since them, everytime i try to record something using this setup, i get video glitches/audio stuttering that keeps happening throughout the recording at random moments. The laptop is a 8th gen intel i7-8700k, 64gb ram, gtx1070 graphics card.

Also got a second Elgato HD60S, a FocusRite Scarlett Solo USB 2nd generation Audio Interface and a Sennheiser MD-421-II mic. In november i got a gaming laptop to serve as a mobile setup for game recording.
